I just found out that the UC Davis CAHFS lab will let you send your "specimen" on their FedEx account and bill you later. Today I had to send a five pound box and my cost is going to be under $12 for next day, 10am delivery. Once they receive the "specimen", they do the necropsy and email the preliminary results by the end of the day. Final results take a few days or more, depending on what tests they do.
