ATTN: Yokohama Lovers!

thank you i was curious why it was happening and everyone  kept telling me to cull it..i am new to yokos but...since i have a friend with a feather legged duck..i know genetics works in weird ways..

this little fella will be sticking around

no need to cull it, it won't stick around.. :)

i just lost 5 yokohamas from my cackle order and they told me i could either get a refund or order more birds to make it at least 15 being shipped...so i opted for the refund and decided to look at other hatcheries with them and found Ideal...

does anyone have pics of the pullets?? or the roos? have you experienced any issues or seen any major breed deviations??

Mine are from ideal. Hen has an off type comb and the roo's tail is pretty short.

So after the egg-a-thon my yokie put on last
Month, she is taking a break right now i guess. Been over a week since ive seen an egg from her. I did rearrange the coup a bit, would moving her nest box throw thing outta whack for her for a bit?

Wanted to quote myself so i can post my roo side by side. These two pics are about a month apart, and i THINK his tail is starting to trail more! Too bad he is getting used to me and started looking straight at the camera...
