Molting in July? You must live pretty far north.

It is the most logical to do! Molting in winter is the most stupid things to do if you are a chicken!
If you give light all year long, like I do, I have a LED 8W bulb switch on from 18:00 till 24:00 houer every day of the year(it cost me 36 shekels a yesr almost 10$ a year)they all lay very good trough
winter but most important they molt lightly and only in summer!
