DH had to climb a tree to rescue a broody bantam and her two chicks this morning (exactly a month after she started sitting - it's not quite spring here yet so has been a little cool). There's no way she would've got them down as they are tiny, and one was actually stuck half hatched and would've died if we hadn't decided to rescue them this morning. I'm hoping it will recover.

And as luck would have it I have a few eggs hatching in the incubator (I set them and forgot to write down when they were due to hatch!) so she'll get a few more littlies to cluck over. She's thankfully a very calm broody and hasn't minded the kids touching her babies.

Everybody's babies are so adorable. I love seeing them all! 🥰
