lol I'm sorry. But I feel better now. It's nice knowing there's always someone on here to help us newbies out. I really appreciate it everyone!

new chicks from hatch 8-6 1 chick, 8-7 10 chicks 8-8 1 chick 7 crested cream legbars, 5 EEs/ amerucana splash
the last little got lucky was ready to do egg tospy. she was trying to hatch I really don't think it would have made it. Its in the bator trying to get her sea legs. She is strong she just might make it

She's resting. I keep checking to make sure she's not bleeding and so far no fresh. I heard one of the other eggs chirping a few minutes ago.

So WHEN she hatches she won't be alone for long.

I'm going to try to get some sleep. Have to be at work in 8 hours and have a very long day ahead of me. lol I couldn't have timed this hatch worse. The busiest work week I've had in a while and I completely forgot my friend and cousin were getting married this weekend. And I'm a bridesmaid!

My little pip from this morning hasn't made any progress yet. I heard a couple chirps, and I can see her beak moving like she is breathing (not pecking) in the hole so I know she is alive. This is my first homegrown baby. Her beak is black, but can't see any of her body yet. Daddy is a Barred rock but his beak wasn't black. Mommy is a Red Sexlink and obviously her beak isn't black either so the combination must create a black beak. Kind of like a couple with a mom or dad with black hair and the other with blonde hair can have red headed children. I can't wait to see her!
