August Hatch-A-Long!

My problem chickie died, made no progress absorbing the sack. I think there may have been issues with the sack but who knows. It had been wrapped around her leg with her leg over her head so who knows.

Here is Mighty Mouse the only survivor from my shipped Welsummer eggs.

Quote: there isn't any big mess other than chips of shell...it's not going to hurt the other eggs have you seen what they go thru under a hen?
My last hatch I had something gooey get on some of the eggs from the hatching chicks. I don't know if by hatching on day 18 & 19 meant they didn't have everything absorbed or they pooped in the incubator before they were even a day old. I didn't immediately wipe it off the eggs and it eventually hardened and couldn't get it off.

did my egg topsy on the remaining eggs.
2 quitter1 early 1 2/3s of developement..... both legbars 5 unfertile legbars (7 live chicks shipped legbars eggs around 65% hatch on fertile legbars ) Very happy with that I have not been able to hatch them.
my home grown EEs 5 unfertle eggs (5 live EE chicks)

I always do eggtopsy. Settle my mind on what happen.
