August Hatch-A-Long!

I am hoping to get Salmon Faverolles eggs in August and then I can join you guys! It will be my first hatch. I am super excited. Right now, we are getting the brooder/coop/ and yard finished. Are you guys going to post pictures up of the eggs in your incubators? I will be using a Little Giant Circulated Air. Good luck everyone.

Great to see more than a few in here for August! This is my second hatch, but will be my first staggered. Thinking I'll try to be less controlling this time, lol. I couldn't help but obsess over everything about my first hatch, and it didn't help a thing! I figure if a broody can do it in the loose chicken style, then why not I?! I put 8 silkie eggs in the incubator on Saturday late PM so I have a hatch date of August 3rd. This is my first hatch-a-long here. I can't wait to check and see if they are growing. This is my first try at shipped eggs so I am nervous. The kids are already naming them with the provision 'if they hatch.'

I don't know how I am going to just let them be for 21 days. LOL. I fear it's going to be like watching and waiting for the water to boil. Maybe I'll just surf on here to pass the time.

My first time incubating, I set my only three leghorn cross eggs yesterday in my new Janoel JN12 incubator. Due on August 5th, so I guess that means I can join my first hatch-a-long!

hello everbody i just set 9 eggs into my brinsea eco glow 10 egg incubator the 10th wouldn't fit for some reason.I bought 2 polish 2 pekin 3 black buff orpington.These are my own eggs 1 ligth sussex cross with a silkie silkie is the father ligth sussex is the mothe and a silkie

So i was wandering when do i go into lockdown i put the eggs in sunday mornng at abou 12 o clock so when would i go into lockdown day 18 in the morning or the evening or day 19 in the morning thanks

I have some in the incubator that will hatch first part of August. Waiting for some shipped eggs to fill up both incubators so lots will be hatching in August.
I will have mostly mutts and EE eggs,few silkies, bantam/LF ameraucanas and much much more.
Oh I have duck eggs under broody ducks have one who has been laying eggs all over the pen so will keep collecting hers and hatch them all at once.
