So it hatched in one incubator and then you put it in another to dry?

My little pipper is working away on the zipper, but slooooooow progress. Only about an inch long now. It is peeping while it works. It really wants out of there. My babe that hatched this morning would love some company, she runs to the edge off the cage when my dog walks up to the cage, lol.

I spoke too soon....she just hatched!!!

I had read that even if you kept them in cartons, you were still suppposed to take them out at lockdown.  I did.  Could this be why I lost some?  

That is what the hatching 101 article says to do. Take them out and lay them down with the lowest dip in the air cell facing up.

It was early so when I saw it pipped I was afraid to open the bator because it's the high humidity one for peafowl and duck etc...peafowl need 90% to hatch! so I turned off the turner when it hatched I didn't want it getting hurt so I wrapped it up and rushed it into the one I usually use for hatching to dry! whew! I watched it fully hatch...so amazing each time
