August Hatch-A-Long!

Yep, the last day before lock down I removed all eggs that were off. I had a few that looked really good, surprisingly, he was not in one of them..

Huh... That is wierd, although I have had a chick randomly hatch like that before..

So happy for everyone's hatchings. For me... I had to cull the chick with the spraddle. He wasn't getting up at all this morning. I tried to get him up several times to no avail. I didn't want the others pecking at him while he went. RIP little Forest Gump.

So far, I still only have the one, and no movement elsewhere. I took a chance and got him out.

He's in the brooder, moving around pretty well, and making plenty of noise. Still crossing my fingers.

Looks a lot like mine! This was an old bathroom vanity. I incubate in the bottom and hatch in the drawers. Out of 3 hatches (all shipped eggs) I got 11/12.....15/21.....6/9.

It does look like yours. I biult mine from scratch with plywood that was gave to me. I can only hope now that i get as goof hatch rate as yours.

Easter Polish babies are hatching!! I tried a dry hatch this time, and so far the results are outstanding!

You can but it isn't often that they make it all the way. I have seen videos of twins and so far it seems like they must all be helped or simply hand hatched. I personally would love the chance to incubate a double yolker!
