I use a hobo-var for incubation and I can rarely get the humidity lower then 40%. I use a small older incubator for hatching... Humidity is at about 50%

Today is day 21 and I'm not seeing any development. Should I be concerned? Temp is 99.5 humidity is 62%.This is my first hatch

You said you set them in the evening.. so that was day Zero, did you count it as day 1 ? If so you are on day 20 and all is well : )

I'm so glad your hatch went great. I really like the serama. Makes me wish I had one. Waiting hopefully for the peachick photos.

My peachicks are 6 weeks old now... but here are their baby photos...

I guess they were just really freaked out by new baby chirpings... I would have missed the hatch if it wasn't for them

I just saw the post about twins! That should be interesting! There is a you tube video of a woman helping a twin egg hatch.

So, yesterday was lockdown and I candled them first. Had to toss 2 of them one didn't have more development from the last candling and had a ring around the middle of the egg. The other one I noticed had a bad smell when I picked it up. Poor thing had died. One of the eggs that I took from my broody and washed has pipped and 2 others don't look far behind.
