I need to replace the poor thing - it is getting old and beat up but still holds temps well. The rest of them are my own eggs that I am trying fertility out on before I mail any...

Oh my goodness this hurricane is cramping my style. I have no generator what in world am I going to do if I loose power? We lost power last night for like 40 minutes and it got down to 96 degrees. Thank goodness it came back on. Does anybody have any ideas on how to keep my incubator warm if I loose power? The storm is suppose to be here on friday. After last months thermostat malfunction this is NOT cool. Go away IRENE!!!

If you have a way to keep or get water hot fill bottles with hot water.Its the only low tech thing I can think of.Even bottles sitting in the sun will heat up water.
I allways save food grade bottle to keep filled with water for emergancies anyway,like soda bottle or juice bottles ect ect...
