So the solid black one is a pullet? No feathers on the feet of the blue one and the legs are pink. GRRREAT She will be a mystery forever, lol. Lets hope she's a she. You sure you don't have anything else in those pens laying eggs?

I may have figured out what the mystery chick is....... it could be a lavender orpington. I had some cuckoo eggs and lavender orp eggs the day I gathered for the swap but I was not sure my Lav orp was fertile because I had not hatched any. I must have mixed one of them by mistake. Thats got to be it.

I just hatched a boy black sexlink he has white on his head. and a white serama from soulsong. So far I only have one more black sexlink that is pipped and the golden one is not yet. None of my three Moderns have pipped yet!! Im sooo discouraged about that! Oh well Im having a good mystery hatch and serama!

light brahma to a cucko roo or hen?

For sexlink to work with barred birds the hen has to be the barred one and the male solid or non- barred.
