Yes the solid black w/ no spot on the head are pullets. Unless the other one is a brahma Cuckoo mix I dont know what it could be............but a light brahma xed to cuckoo roo should be a sexlink also ?? I dont know .....maybe its a pullet at least !
light brahma to a cucko roo or hen?
For sexlink to work with barred birds the hen has to be the barred one and the male solid or non- barred.
Yes that is right........ the cuckoo was a roo and the light Brahma was the shemale. So it would be a full blooded mutt ! :0)
Well it looks like the "green" egg didn't make it but I just heard a "peep" out of the brown egg. And how long for the guinea eggs again? I thought two of them looked internally pipped but it could just be the way the air cells formed. There was definately a lot of movement in those two.

I have hatched a couple of these black ones out for my friends from these same eggs. The first time I got eggs back in april I only got 2 eggs, one hatched I gave it away to a friend with 7 more I hatched after him. The guy thought it was a rooster and named it Earl it's a hen it just started laying! The next one was the last one I hatched again from only 2 eggs I hatched one . He lives in the city and needed her to be a hen- Turned out to be a Rooster named Annabelle. I also hatched reds and blues from them but only hatched red ones since I started hatching them for myself. They will be BIG chickens. The oldest one I have is a pullet and Im saving her for my Broiler project.
