Whoever may or may not have sent your eggs is probably glad that the made it for the most part safely. They probably are a little disappointed that one was cracked, but may have slipped by because they have a turkey that was eating eggs and they checked for cracks and discarded a few that were to be sent but may have missed the one. Ugh. The turkey would become Thanksgiving dinner probably if she wasn't old and her meat would be like chewing on shoe leather. If she only had a Tom maybe she could raise her own poults and leave the chickens alone. She may have been raised with the chickens and never gotten sick and when she may have been removed, she may have thrown a fit and may have kept sneaking back in whenever the individual went in to feed the chickens. STupid turkey.
Thanks to whoever may or may not have sent these eggs
They look beautiful and can't wait for them to hatch. Sounds like that turkey may or may not be lonely and needs a friend - I've got a hen in time out with her same problem. They must get bored
pdsavage - good luck with your hatch! Hope your get some guineas too - they make awesome guard birds
