It was Alexandra (quailladyoffortmeyers)... I knew quaillady's real name, and since the address said Ft. Meyers FL I knew right away who it was. It took me a minute to figure out who Stephanie was though!

My experience anyway - there was always an escape into my classroom.

The kids do make it worth it. Now if the principal would just have meetings all of the time. No butt chewing today. I was in my room a few minutes before she checked on me.

I talked to the teacher I followed into the building yesterday and this teacher didn't get chewed out or even talked to. I've never had a principal like me, even when I was a top 5 finalist for the state's Excellence In Education Award my third year. Oh well, my classes are always over the maximum class size. Our max class size in Science is 23 and its nothing for me to have 28-30 because of parent demands. That's what makes it worth it. Sorry to vent again and pat myself on the back.

By the way, I still have lots of room in my bator for my second set of eggs.

Checked the eggs realy fast when I moved them to the Brower,they seam to be doing ok.I will check much better once its dark.
If I get any more eggs next week I might have to pull out the old warmer which is just a cooler with a light bulb.I regulate the heat by moving the lid back and forth depending if its to hot or cold...It does realy good getting the eggs started....
Hope everyone gets their eggs today or tommorow...It would stink having to wait the whole weekend...

You ask and you shall receive. I have a sub today. I went to get my toe and elbow checked. Well, I worked on sub stuff until 5 at school. I went to super with MIL and wife's grandma, did calf and chicken chores and worked on sub stuff until 11:30. I made plans with other teachers to get a computer into my room and hooked up to a projector. Another teacher needed a DVD I burned for his first class and then was going to take it to my sub. Well, I got a call at 7:45 from the principal and said the sub and she couldn't find stuff. I explained it was all taken care of. What a great way to start the day. I decided I better go to school (15 min away) and see if the sub understood everything. I got there and he did but he wanted me to make copies for him. Ugh. While making copies the principal came into the copy room all nice as could be and said"I thought we had a sub for you today." I said you sure do but I figured I better come in and make sure everything is ok. She just smiled and walked out. Its a good thing the next two days are the weekend. I just keep thinking of the words to "The Lost Dr Seuss Poem"

i candled my swap eggs again, I still got 6 out of eight. but no one is fessing up as to thier lineage. The storm is passed us I think! We only had one little shower and the wind blew a little but hardly 30mph.
