Augusta Maine Poultry Swap/ Farm Days thread June- Dec 2013

getting ready to head to the swap. bringing 2 white leghorn pullets 16 weeks old $30. for them.

went to the swap lots of vendors. I swapped my two leghorns for two red comets that are the same age. good deal.

really good turn out, and we do it again next saturday as it's the last saturday of the month. it will probably be the only swap going on (other then sanford) in the state since the others are on the 1st,2nd ,3rd and 4th saturdays and this month we have a 5th saturday. hope to see you all there.

I'm looking for some silkie, Cochin, and sizzle eggs to hatch. Anyone have some that will be available on the 29th??

How do I know if the swap on June 29th at TSC Augusta will be canceled due to weather?

you can check here in the morning and if it is CANCELLED, I will post it or you can call the store. they open at 8:00, swap starts at 8:30, just ask them if any one is set up (or if it's raining).
I will NOT post on here if it's a go as I will be too busy packing and heading out.

we had a very good turn out today considering some thought it was going to rain. not quite as many vendors this week (still a full parking lot) but definately more buyers.
