Auracan Laying Broken Eggs

In lieu of oyster shell you could try drying and smashing up eggshells from birds with better quality shells, so she could get some calcium by eating those instead.
 
Thats a great Idea. We Normally feed the eggs back, however sometimes they end up in the compost. I remember we need to crush them, as otherwise they break the real eggs. Unfortunately we only have 1 properly laying chicken, the white bantam, so I may have to resort to oyster shells.
