Aussie roo or hen

You sure that girl isn't hiding eggs on you? She looks like she should be laying by now...they will find the most creative places to give you an occasion for an Easter egg hunt...

My BA was close to 6 months before she laid. i also discovered soon after that she will eat her eggs if I don't get to them quickly...hope your gal isn't doing that too!
 
i have a hen like this, she doesnt lay eggs, and acts more like a rooster around the rest but not as agressive..and stranger yet, she is extreamly broody..she has very large wattles too..they might be cross sex .
 
Her comb and wattles have developed as an indication of sexual maturity. She'll start laying within the next month or so. The rest of your girls will follow soon, hopefully.

I've heard of this before, if the hens and roosters are separated one hen will act like a male. She will stop laying, act broody or dominant, and some will even crow!
