hello backyard chicken world!
i am in the process of building a coop and run, looking forward to chickens in probably a week or two. new friends with feathers and fresh eggs, can't wait! i also have big plans for a compost pile, a garden, neighborhood food community, world peace, all that good stuff.
i live here in east austin central texas with my husband, a huge dog, a little dog, a cat, a guinea pig, two rats, a snake, and a betta fish. we have designs on being urban farmers, and are inspired by all the people already doing it. yay slow food!
i will have tons of questions, and have already gotten tons of good information from this forum. thanks for being here!
anticipating avian awesomeness,
cameroneil
