Bit sad for me . Lost my beautiful chester over night. He was my first ever rooster and a pekin bantam cross. one of my neighbours came down the hill with chest when we were first here and said i see you have a few chooks can you take him as he is violent.... I took him and chest was anything but violent, a sweet little gentleman. I am not sure if the heat got him or just old age.. I though booster my large roo who i have had a few weeks less than chester would go first(they were both fully grown when i go them so not sure of age.) but no... Rip little man. sometimes i am sure i am more attached to my roosters than i am my hens.

And Zeus , buff sussex. ( he's the chick in my avatar )[/quote Fancy I'm buying a SLW pullet next week, I think the eggs came initially from your farm. Buying it from a guy called Steve from Bridgewater way. Small world.

Yes Karen , Steve bought eggs from me, and was very happy with his hatch rate. Here are the parent stock.

Sorry Kim, I am definately more attached to my Roos. I hope my rainbow cheered you up a little.
