Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I mowed the house yard yesterday before it started raining maybe I should have done it sooner

It hammered down at my place too, hooray!!

I candled some of the eggs last night - I saw veins! I'm so excited. I couldn't see any real development in the NN eggs, but that may be because they are a darker egg. On the other hand, I could see veins in 3 of the PR bantams

I didn't candle them all though, because it was raining and quite chilly so fingers crossed for a good hatch.

So glad to hear your sons on the mend Ben, they are amazing how they bounce back! I remember when my daughter broke her leg when she was 3 and her sheer determination as she dragged herself with her full leg cast across the play equipment and it wasn't too long a time before she was up hobble running :)

We got 60mm or so in about an hour on Monday, and I think most of it ended up soaking the carpet in my study upstairs!

In chicken news, someone around here has a rooster...he's been crowing all day! I love it, but I'm not so sure he's going to be all that popular in my inner Sydney suburb!

There's not much rain up here, only a light shower now and then. I find the weather varies so much here. One day it can be boiling hot, the next, nice and windy.
