I don't bring adult birds in anymore, but at least 4 weeks preferably 6 . Mycoplasma and upper respiratory disease symptoms can take that long to rear their ugly heads. A carrier of these diseases may only show symptoms when stressed out. In 4-6 weeks of observing you should know if anyone has runny noses or breathing issues. Also gives you an opportunity to deliced and worm . Lice are like nits in kids you need to treat 10 days apart as with most wormers.
I only bring in chickens as eggs these days.

Do they look ok? I may get some eggs off you soon, if that's ok? I got the r-com, but haven't used it yet. Having trouble getting rid of young roos at the moment, so am limiting my hatching.

Sorry to tell you, Satay, but I think you have me beat by heaps, in terms of numbers.

@Fancychooklady I think your photos would make great cards. I haven't found any but this for Easter that I like

The new lines aren't as dark as mine but he says they are from older hens. They were a gift so we will see how they go once hatched.

Thanks Sam. Yesterday I was laying in the grass ( as you do ) taking pics of the new slw chicks and Walter and his mate the duck kept photo bombing me.
Then the duck found the water fountain. So funny , he popped in and Walt stepped on a Lilly pad and attempted to follow. The little guy soon realized that he wasn't on solid ground and waited for ducky to finish her swim. Lucky I had the camera out. I will have to wait for my daughter to come home from college to get them uploaded. Watch this space! :pop
