Have quails hatching in my incubator. First ones from my own quails. bred a beautiful yellow and gold baby ring neck this year and it came out of the nest box a week ago. As i went to go out the avairy yesterday it got out. Bugger. Have not seen it since. A week of over 40C every day, The girls have not really appreciated it. Hopeing for a slightly cooler day today


My sister in law is due to have a baby any day so I may not be on as much leading up to Christmas(if she ever has this baby lol) so I would love to wish Ash, Luke, Ducky, Qld chook and Sam and anyone else on our Aussie thread a very merry christmas.

OH gosh no. Our oldest nephew (hubbys side) is 22 in feb, neice is 20, nephew 14 and on my side My brother and his wife already have 1 son who will be 2 in feb and this one we are all waiting on is a boy too. This one is excting though as it took my brother and his wife a long time to have the first one so this little bundle of joy coming along soon after is sure a bonus.
Love the boys. What breeds are they.?

Good luck with it all Satay and have a great time over Christmas. Hope the baby's alright and your quails grow up nicely. I wont be on for a week or so as I'm going away over Christmas.

Satay -, we havent had a dry summer here for about 3 years now- rains a lot more than it did before Black Saturday thats for sure.
