So @Rexy and I are the proud parents of some lovely new fluffiness... Cluckcluckluk... 2 of these are your frizzles! (Not sure which ones though

..... There is a bit of a mixed bag in this lot.... A bit of everything.... Soooo cute!

So far there are 6 of Fancy's coro sussex (sorry rexy, miscounted... One was Luke's rir!).... 1 rir and 2 frizzles from Lucas, 2 of my pekin's, 2 of rexy's maran's, and rexy's australorpe..... Still with another 3 coro sussex and a pekin egg cracking as we speak! Just not sure about your other Maran egg rexy... Still nothing from it yet and it is the last one.... Maybe the lucky last

All in all.... A very successful hatch! And I want to say a HUGE thank you to rexy for lending us her incubator and eggs to hatch.... We have had the most glorious time watching and waiting.... Absolutely glued to the Perspex! It was wonderfully generous of you to let us test out your next bator.... I am now certainly looking for one of my own to buy

Wow, that's a very impressive hatch rate. Must be a good incubator.

I caught another mischievous snake today. He was in the egg boxes when I went down to lock the chickens up.

@satay I think I am going to have to get myself a snake, they are super fun.

I also lost 3 chicks to a cunning hawk a few days ago, so mother Frizzle and her remaining 4 are in the abandoned quail pen. I have done my best to properly snake proof it but it seems that there is an excess of predators about at the moment.

Snakes should be hybernating now luke unless it is really warm where you are. Sorry for your loss. I hope your remaing ones stay safe with their mumma.
