Thanks CWrite. The baby that was left in her egg pipped and nothing else. I made the hole bigger and let her be.......

This morning it was half zipped but she couldn't go further as the membrane had stuck to her back poor Thing was crying for mummy to help so I used warm water and a dropper and wet the membranes and She was out in a flash. ! All good so 17 chicks altogether from 18 that went into lockdown. All look strong and healthy

You see Michael , us chicken folk aren't so crazy after all. When I tell people how much I get for eggs I get the same funny look.

Absolutely the wrong time of year to try posting eggs. They will just cook in the Aus Post vans.
I did try sending 3 dozen Ara eggs to NSW with a so called pet courier - 3 out of 36 hatched.
