Morning! Just doing my weekly check in.

my poor work mate got chicks from a school same time I got mine. They were 20 weeks in January. They are rhode island. Every week there were no eggs.

I hot a call from him saying son heard a cockle doodle do! Poor guy. 2 roosters! But can't believe they've taken tjis long to crow lol

I am planning to advertise the little boys next weekend (when they will be 5 weeks old) and I am just after some opinions on what colour you would call them?

This little guy is growing out nicely. I have tried to introduce him to the Blrw pen a couple times, but he'd much rather hang with the coronation sussex.

Thanks Felix, he started out darker than any I'd hatched and I'm a little disappointed by the brassiness around the hackle but it is diminishing with each generation . I have a lovely dark blue hen to put him with, so here's hoping. Now that I have the type and comb almost there I will concentrate on lacing and colour.

Blonde platinum and silver grey? I have no idea what the real colour name are Lol very beautiful
