Some chicks have hatched!!!
They are the early birds, all are due around tomorrow sometime, these girls hatched this morning as they are all fluffed up.
I have 1 piping but haven't checked all the eggs as i don't want to disturb the broody hens and their temps.




Will get some better pictures when everyone that is going to hatch hatches!

It's been raining so much I had not noticed she was missing. My banties free range all day with the turkeys. I am amazed she sat in this rain though. There are puddles all over the place.

Thanks everyone, I got 3 more chicks now this morning.
This is "White Hen" with her little chick! I snuck it under her last night while it was piping so she could have a little chick this morning.

These are RIR's little chicks and her 3 remaining eggs. I had to move all the broody's to their broody cages this morning, so just a quick snap for a quick interchange.



This is "White Hen" giving me the sink eye!

RIR with 2 of her 3 chicks eating some chick feed and the hatched eggs ( people said the broody's eat this for nutrition or something so don't throw away the egg shells ).


My Frizzle hen from what I can see has 1 chick hatched at the moment, hopefully she will get some more by this afternoon.
Satay what colour are your Araucana's eg: Lav or Splash Lav?

They are lavender Luke. Maxi looks full lavender to me too but I guess he could have some hidden genetics I don't know about.
