Poor Charlotte the Faverolles is not happy at all. I can't figure out what's wrong so she's now inside in a nice quiet box where it's warm, and I've put some triple c in her water, hoping that starts to help.

Check her lice and mites, best way is to give her a cuddle for 10 minutes, if she has lice they will be on you before you know it. Examine her abdomen for swelling or hardness and have a good look around the vent area. Pull the ear muffs forward and check inside the ear cavity, a sinus or ear infection can send them off balance and make them reluctant to move around. When was the last time you wormed them? What does her poop look like ?

Annie this is the pic of little George as a chick. His mum crushed him in the egg and at this stage it was touch and go because he hadn't yet absorbed the yolk. One night sitting in the egg cup under the heat lamp saw him come good. So he is a special boy, still happy to sit up on the dogs bed and steal their dinner, just don't think he's ever going to be a daddy.
