GUYS I'M GETTING QUAILSe ....WEll you already know that, but I am getting them today !
we just finished to cage then and am going to pick them up in a couple hours. Six of them and when we get home you can help sex them for me...lucky you !

Congratulations luke!!!!! You'll love them, I know it. What colour are you getting? because the brown ones should be easy to sex, but I can only tell with my grey/white boy when he was crowing (by 6 weeks so any boys you have should be making themselves known to you fairly soon).

Can you pop up a photo of their cage for us too?

Well my little late season 3rd cross Araucanas are starting to hatch right on time, despite power cuts.
3 lavender chickies out so far - pictures to follow.

well....the quails are WONDERFUL!!! I am just not to happy from where we got them

. She breeds Campines, Lorps and Hamburgs. These look fine but then here Lorps, silkies, mixed Wyandottes and turkeys are not looking to good. One of her Wyandottes had THE worst scaley leg, there was no scales just this swollen crust legs and the spurs were so long.

Yet the quails seemed fine..ish. We where supposed to take 6 but only got 5 as one had the worst leg problem, a wound all swollen. She said we can take what we won't and she would just release the rest in to the wild

. We where going to take it but just didn't want to risk it. They are all alert eating etc. We have just found the English white has got bubble foot. But it isn't to bad so shouldn't be to hard to fix. Haven't really checked for lice, mites yet so will dust tomorrow.

We have got 2 Golden Mancharins - 1 is called Cleopatra, haven't named the other.
1 White English called Snow White.
1 I am not sure of the colour but it is just the classic brown one.
and finally 1 Tuxedo called 007

. He/she is my favorite.
