Basically, no avocado or citrus, or chocolate. . It doesn't matter if the eggshells are there own, they  will eat them ,and it's fine.  Looking forward to the pictures!

Never thought about chocolate lol I would never share mine anyways Mine eat citrus all the time. They eat the ones that fall from the trees if we have to many.

My Welsummers are finally growing in their combs and wattles, so hopefully they won't be too far off laying now.
That'll make 6 on the lay - we're getting there!!

I've read a link which refers to BYC saying that citrus is not too good for chickens. It's better to throw your bad citrus fruits in the bin then feed them to your chickens. You can take a look at the link if you want.

Actually, tell a lie. They are more like 11 months - a year now.

Ok so a lot younger than ours.

We're actually thinking of getting ducks to you know. Maybe about 3 of them. It should be good raising them.

I have read that before but I can't really stop mine from helping themselves. It has never hurt them so I don't really mind. Just a gross example of what chickens will try to eat this morning when I went to let them out they all raced off to the side fence of our place. I went to see what the rush was and they were trying to eat a dead koala that was just over the neighbours side of the fence... Gross little buggers they are. I got the poor koala off them and buried him in the yard where they could not get to him.

I did yell girls get off your not at sizzler but they didn't care lol. I think poor koala had been gone a couple of days.
