Yeah. It sucks.
I think if I was in your situation I would have sold at least some.
I only have 1 and she doesn't eat much so I don't mind to much.

I only have 6 all up Luke and they are 4 girls and 2 boys. They love to free range and don't really eat all that much so they get to stay

Yeah I do have quite a few muscovies they lay like troopers so I guess they make up for the runners and keep my duck egg customers happy. So do my 1 pair of khaki Campbell's but they are getting on in age now so may not lay much longer that's ok though as they are a lovely pair and with live out their lives here. Another reason I couldn't part with the runners was I still can see them surfing on the water running down the driveway in the 2011 floods.(only have one of those three left now) They looked like they were catching a wave at the beach and it gave a housebound people some fun to watch for a few hours.
