Sorry if the photo was offensive.to answer your question.. Although I'm no great photographer, I come from a family of photographers and I suppose it's just our instinct to document. I just wanted one last picture, to hold onto him somehow. It's really ridiculous how attached I was to him

Its not ridiculous at all, we all want some reminder of our pets. Hope you feel better.

Condolences Pinky, I think everyone here knows what it's like to feel loss for a beloved pet. I thought your photos were both a fine tribute.

Does anyone know if Isas are prone to broodiness? My top chook Glados seems to be in the nesting box whenever I check (morning and afternoon) and when I tried to check under her for eggs just now she gave me a hard peck!

No it's not typical for an isa brown to be broody. However they are prone to being egg bound. I give mine generic sardines in olive oil.
