I agree with the others they are roo's. By that age if she breeds them she would know they are roos and just hope you didn't work it out. If you have an incubator buy eggs from someone and hatch them yourself. Had a clean out the last few days with my nasty araucana roo x( nasty to the other roosters not people) and 7 young aussie roos gone to my cousins a swap for 2 young mucovey females. Yes an odd swap but she couldn't keep the ducks and her son is gunna eat the roos. My light sussex breeders have gone to my dad's. I kept a couple for laying hens but the rest went. Maxi my new aracauna male has some girls with him now so he is a happy camper lol. Has anyone had a rosoter eat eggs before? I have seen it in hens but never a rooster. One of my rir roos has started to peck ducks eggs. Think he might be heading to the pot too if he keep it up.

Yup, its hard to see, but definitely has the same saddle feathers. I just told her thanks but no thanks, and let her know about the livestock markets.

. That will blow his socks off. I think you can fill them with mustard or Mayonnaise and that works as well.

Hi every one I'm finding it really hard to find some Indian Runner Ducks ANYWHERE. I've heard that runners are the local favorite breed of duck around my way so thought it wouldn't be to hard. I have several adds on Gumtree and i constantly check Chook Trader and i can't manage how to have certain location searches on FarmStock so have given up on it, are there any other good poultry or livestock websites i could have a look through that you know of or anything else i could do???

I'm going to pick up two new chickens today!

A gold laced wyandotte, and a leghorn x araucana (depending on if it looks healthy, I've seen pics of the wyandotte but not the other).
