Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I haven't, but I will do a bit of a google and find out what I'm looking for. As I said, they don't seem to be distressed at all, but look a bit pathetic.

My Isa's have rubbed the feathers of their necks from pushing out threw the chicken wire to eat grass when I cant let them free range (about 3 weeks due to extreme bad weather and rain) Looks awful but they are happy and fine, I have been treating for mite/lice but dont think thats the issue here .......
 
Is anyone else having an early moult in their flock?

I have had like 4 chickens already moulted and 2 are currently moulting.



Also I have mites....

Sorry to crash this thread but for anybody who has needed to treat cocci in chicks...what did you use and where did you get it from?? Thanks

Oh poor isa's lol. I have never understood why the moult at the coldest part of the year?

I sadly haven't gotten onto of it quickly I have had them for 3 weeks now, they are horrible.

There is baycox, which is expensive but one of the best on the market. There is also a powder that you can buy at most produce stores called
Amprolium 200 which is okay (I've heard) but not as effective.


I really hope it all works out for you, I've got Coccidiosis in my soil so I know the pain of it. Good luck!
