Hi blondie chick
I can relate to the turkeys getting in to my girls' coop and then flapping around .... it was quite funny when I was yelling at them and I must say, spraying water with my $7- target water pistol, but they just couldn't find the way out. So I had to calm down to help them out - or they wouldn't have got out. I live in north-western Sydney
Thanks for saying about the mint and bush rats - I didn't know that - I will go mad with mint now too.. Unfortunately the rats like the coop as well as the p[ossums and the turkeys ...
Someone asked about wormwood? I found some in Bunnings in a little multiherb pack of seedlings. It's still growing.
sss

. At least I hope so!! Lol
fortunately I have a section in my coop with pavers... At least if they stand in that they are out if the mush.. I'm not sure if they get feet problems from being wet constantly but it's pretty mushy
