Well done.:)

Well I contacted the faverolles fellow and he is in St Ives in Sydney. He has about 20 x 10 week old faveroles plus some point of lay and other breeds too at same ages. He is going to email me some photos so will post them here when he does for anyone else interested.

Sounds like he got his from a proper show breeders line. Oh and he also has silkies for whoever was asking about those.

Oh, you got some? Yay :) what colors did you end up with? Did that breeder I found get in touch with you?

I found a breeder an 1.5 hours away :) so I made the drive yesterday. I still don't trust my dogs so chicks are living in a rabbit bank cage unless I am home... Colours are- silver Birchen, lavender & grey :) gorgeous girls 10, 12 & 14 weeks old.
I hope you get yours soon :)
Ps no don't think any breeders got in touch with me? I had a few reply by email to me though..

I gave the one I know your email. Sorry if he didn't get I'm touch. Probably way less hassle with the place you found though :)

I would love to see, thanks Appps. So will you go with him instead?

I'm torn because I really wanted 3 week old chicks to hold and get tame as pets but he says they are already pretty tame and come running and climb on them when he goes in the pen. So wondering if picking the tamest 2 from 20 ten week old might be better than getting 3 younger whose temperaments we won't know.

Also was getting 3 faverolles but googled the light Sussex and if he has pure not cross they are gorgeous so now thinking maybe some of those mixed in too?

Plus he has silkies........

hahah, So much to choose from appps.

If it where me I'd go for 2 Favs and 1 Sussex. At the oldest he has. Just my 2 cents.

I've been emailing them on and off for ages but they said they were low on eggs. Last email a week ago they said they had just put me in the order book.

I'm worried if I don't get them soon its going to start getting cold and putting them outside as they get older is going to be harder. I'm after 3 week old chicks so they will need to acclimatize.

Don't be sorry :) I appreciate all you help and advice. Look he may have but I emailed so many I wouldn't know.. Lol what was his name?
