I've heard about that too, the colour coming from the roos.

My friend has had an okay hatch so but amazingly, 7/8 so far appear to be girls. There was a good fertility over all.

I didn't mean to come across as bitchy  when talking about the eggs. It's very common that eggs from show birds are not the same as eggs from utility style birds. 

On another note, Tony Abbott is now our Prime Minister.

I've triple checked and it definitely is one of my br eggs. Could it be some kind of rare throwback? Or can chickens be albino?

Satay, do you still have the two you hatched from my eggs? Any chance you could post a pic?

Hi all, I have two roosters in one off my flock and both attack I don't want to get rid of them cause they are beautiful things Frizzle named Puffle and a Wyandotte called Prince Charles but we like to call him Charlie I can send some pics if u want I also want to know if there is any way of stopping them from attacking.

Up to you but I would cull them myself. You never want to breed with an aggressive rooster as the trait can be Passed on. If you have small children at all I would definitely keep them separate too if you don't cull them. Some people say to pick them up and carry them around for a while if they are being aggressive Never had an aggressive rooster myself but the neighbour next door I went to feed his chooks for him one day (had been doing it 5 weeks already) when his oeg bantam rooster came flying out of no where and tore the back of my leg up. I still had to feed them for another week til he got back. Had to use a rake for the remainder of the time. When Reg got back he culled the rooster.
