Wow, glad I made a huge coffee lol 682 pages lol
Hey guys, I am new here, I live in Central West NSW, about an hour from Dubbo :) Yes you may laugh, a tiny little town called "Cumnock"

I actually get asked quite alot if it actually exists lol I hope so, or it explains why I don't get mail sometimes lol
No ocean or seals out here. Heaps of turtles, Kingies, galahs, cockatoo's, grass parrots, plus heaps more. All come in for a feed with my chooks and no problems at all :)
Although, Alfie, my rooster hates the magpies, he chases them out of the yard if my great dane don't get to them first :)
Awesome to see so many Aussies on here :)

Welcome :)

Hi I'm new here, new to farming and in qld. I have coronation Sussex, columbian Wyandotte and a few others that I don't know lol. We basically have our chickens as pets and feed them as we don't eat the eggs and don't eat the chickens either, I know crazy lol. I also have geese

Hi reecey, I don't eat eggs either lol, but I'm obsessed.
Just wondering if anyone has any rooster advise, do they make good pets or is he going to start attacking me, and how do I know when he's mature, he's humping the girls like mad, but not crowing, very red in the face and changing everyday with his feathers and comb

Hi satay
Love the pic, especially with your dog. I have two dogs and it worries me whether to let them near the chooks. I have an old English sheepdog and a Yorkie terrier. How did you introduce them? I would love for all of them to mingle in the yard but at the moment I isolate the dogs while the chooks are out.
