Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

All of these photos are the best. Does anyone know how to upload a photo from their mobile phone to this site? Wish it would rain here. Hasn't rained at all in more than 5 months. I'm luckier than most as I have a bore.

Okay so my Plymouth Rock and her chicks went outside for the first time today but I had to put them away again cause my Isa Brown is pecking the chicks, sometimes lifting them in the air. I take it she would peck them to death given a chance. The 'mum' doesn't seem to notice or care but if I go near them she goes on full guard. I know all chickens would act differently but will the Isa Brown always peck them or will the be able to integrate eventually?

Isa brown are bred to be " egg machines " IMHO. They don't have a maternal bone in their body. That being said I have 1 x lonely blrw chick in a pen shared with an Isa and she tends to ignore it. Be careful though, it will only take a peck in the right place for it to end tragically.

I knew they were a layer that's why I got her but she gets along well with the other two I fact even snuggles with the Wyandotte at night. It was all going well and then it was like a prey drive kicked in. I'm hoping they can integrate but I don't think I can keep the roo. Anyone in Adelaide interested in a lavender Araucana rooster?

I've done it from the mobile version of the site. You just click the little picture icon above where you are typing and then it lets you pick take photo or upload from device. I find it works when using my wifi connection at home but not when I try and do with the mobiles 3G connection but that could be something with my plan

Exciting news at my place - nearly.
