I was thinking of getting a couple of bantams to keep my Dorking company. Poor thing is meek and right at the bottom of the food chain.
She's recovering from an eye infection at the moment, so I'm considering getting a bantie or two and putting them together for a while, then putting them all in the run after quarantine.

Yeah I'm sure if you put your Dorking in with some hens that she can friend then when she goes back into the existing flock she will be much more confident.
Just make sure if you put two banties in with her that they don't start bullying her.

Thanks Luke.
I will probably just get the one for now.

I bought her with a NN and they were great friends, but unfortunately she died suddenly, from what, I have no idea.

Breed suggestion? I can get Pekins and d'Uccles easy enough though I'm not too keen, but I am open to either. Don't want something too flighty like Sebrights.

I love both pekins and duccles... If I had to choose I would go duccles they are such cute tiny little banties.

Pekins can have feather problems at times so I'd probably go with D'Uccles.
