e got another little coro today and to top of a great day I also got my first egg from the blrw.

She laid it in the silkie pen on the floor. She was still in there, pacing the line when I found her. It's not much bigger than a silkie egg but quite different in colour.
When I went over to check last night, she was sleeping in the nest box. I hope she's not one of those lay one egg and go broody types.

@K Spot yes Pekins are just so cute and they really are just fun to watch. Sadly though my ducks were abandoned and I think because of it im having behavior issues with both of them still not being comfortable with myself or other family members

Do you think you are going to eat or incubate her eggs?

I think for now we arw going to eat them until I know a lot more about caring for ducks ect also we have a huge back yard probably only ideal for maybe 4 ducks so if I did hatch them I would sell the ducklings
