Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Hi everyone.... Does anyone around me have some Speckled Sussex girls please? I inherited a lovely roo who was the only boy amongst some day olds that a friend got a few months ago and she can't keep roos in her suburban yard...so the beautiful boy has come to live with us! Problem is he was used to having some lovely female companions and now he is lonely

(I have separated him from my other feathered lovelies)

Brisbane to the Gold Coast kinda area would be good.... Happy to pay (but not $70/hen like some people are asking.... Sorry if you are one of those people!!

Sorry I don't have any, but I love SS. Do you have any pictures of this rooster???

@Cluckcluckluke

What do you have?

I have a White Leghorn rooster ( WLH ), two WLH hens, 2 RIR bantam hens, 1 Frizzle hen, 1 Leghorn Frizzled pullet, two French Wheaten Marans hens and a young pair of Yokohama's.

I plan on breeding Yoko's and WLH's.
My Yoko's will be concentration breed and the WLH's will just be for making some money selling fertile eggs.
The bantams and Marans are for variety and broody's.

You?

@Cluckcluckluke We've got a bit if a mixed bag too... The 2 old girls are an Isa Brown & an Australorp, then we have 2 mixed breed young girls (one of whom I'm still convinced might be a roo?!?!), 3 FW Maran chicks, and a strapping FW Maran cockerel on his way to us courtesy of @Satay , 5 beautiful fluffy pekins that I absolutely adore, 5 quails, and our new magnificent speckled sussex rooster..... And a partridge in a pear tree! :D

(Ok.... Lied about having the partridge in a pear tree :lol:)

And love them all!
