Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I bought my R-com 50pro from P and T Poultry (they are in the UK) At the time with the exchange rate, postage ect it was more than $500 cheaper than Bellsouth (as much as I love them they are way more expensive but a bonus is if something goes wrong they will fix/service it for you) I also bought some of the three egg rcoms from ebay and another rcom 50pro second hand off gumtree... It doesn't hurt to have a search for a second hand unit but I don't think you will find too many people keen to sell theirs. I was just lucky this guy had used it once and was going overseas...

I'm not sure if it is just the photo Rexy but particularly the one in front, the back one is harder to see but it looks like she is colouring up a bit differently to my pullets here. I'll take some pics too :)

Satay,

We had monsoon rain up on the Northside.  We finally got our run enclosed enough to let the girls out safely and they loved it.  I arrived home from a quick trip to the shops, got the girls back in their coops and the heavens opened!  I'm quite pleased that they didn't have a blow dry as well as their first day out.  I also tried a bit of landscaping this morning & apparently my chickens haven't read the blog that says that they don't eat aromatic herbs and geraniums. :idunno

Gratz glad you got some much needed rain :)
