Well - I am reasonably happy with that They were all young birds and fertility always decreases as the length of daylight decreases.
Yes- the cold seems to affect them also.
I know, right? I think the young man who served us yesterday might have been a special project, too. Hard to get cranky when it was obvious he just couldn't understand what I was saying and kept pointing me toward the feeder I already have. I think the footplate trigger might be the go....there's a few on ebay.There are very few helpful people at that place. Everyone else seems to be off in lala land. There's a DIY thread here somewhere for feeders that might be helpful. Otherwise perhaps some kind of trigger based feeder?
Yes - We have had several morning frosts. It has been unusually cold for this time of year so far.Is it freezing out your way yet Ash?
