Actually, Snowy has been assisting me (doing all the work really) with breaking Hedwig. She chases her off the nest periodically. Besties no longer, not while there are babies at stake anyway. I just collect the eggs and leave her to it.

I will take a picture of the 3 broody girls for your viewing pleasure this afternoon. I wish mine would listen to my stern talkings to, but alas, it seems to fall on deaf ears. Or should that be drowned out by the growls of a broody showing her displeasure at me?

Thank you to the lovely @satay for posting some of her lovely Marans eggs to me to hatch under one of my ever determined broodies. This time it will be Snitzel the SS having a go at being a mother.
She's in her 2nd year of laying and is on maybe her 4th time being broody so I've caved and will let her sit

Your very welcome K I hope they made the journey to you ok and that you get alot of lovely fw's and perhaps a blue too. I"ve only ever had on ss and she was the best mum ever. She would even try to steal babies if she didn't have any of her own.
