Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

So im a bit concerned about how im going to fit all my chickens in the coops. The babies are growing fast.

if the chicks bump each other is that a chick thing or a rooster thing? I really need to start selling some formore room lol but I want my hens. I think starting to get a bit pink in the comb area. They are nearly 4 weeks. I know I'm going to have a hard time sexing the silkies ;-(
Oh is that what that's called? I always saw it a bit like this...

Ok hard decision, we are only allowed 6 birds in town here. I have 7 , 4 large 3 bantams 3 of my last lot from are gone, 2 were roosters one was killed by the dog. They still have some left from that same hatch and have said I'm welcome to come choose some to replace the others. I would probably get 2 so they aren't alone in quarantine. But quarantine is already full and that would mean according to chicken math I have 9 of my allowed 6 so no more room for the ducks I want.
What do I do!!!

Disguise them as doves or racing pigeons. We are allowed 20 of those in addition to our 6 chooks.

Meet ' toughy ' the newest edition to our ever suffering paddocks. He was a very successful racer and his owner would like to see if he can be as successful at showjumping. He's already had his first lesson at crossbars. Not to shabby either.
