. I like a ton of snow or none at all not in between. I think the animals do too. :p
Yeah the same weather does get boring.
I love the snow though.

Yes! I think I would like winter more if it didn't consist of school. :p

I had to move a rather obnoxious coronation hen and her eggs yesterday. When she was off doing her ablutions earlier in the day I found a little yellow wing in with the eggs. I can only assume that one had hatched and the rotten ravens fought her for it. So she has now been relocated . The same ravens pulled a duckling through the wire and when I went out to see what the ruckus was this morning , there they were 3 of them, one on top of the cage and one on either side trying to scare the ducklings away from gemima . I thinks it's time to get the slingshot out.

Two words: Nerf gun. I use them when my dog or cats are standing across the house from me and ignoring my commands. They get a Nerf dart in the butt. Also great for rude ravens.

Woo got my new waterer for the quarantine coop today, these guys ship so fast! The young pullets keep knocking over their water so I'm constantly having to clean out the wet shavings, and if I don't see it right away in this hot weather as you can imagine is not a good thing.

I got one for my main coop when my first chicks first went outside full time and love it.
Anyone else use a cup waterer? I see mention of the nipple waterers on here all the time but can't see how a chook could get enough water unless they are at it all day (don't doubt that they do I just can't see how)

The old one in the "playpen" before the roosters went to the farm (no really an actual farm lol)

Yep I have one of these for water too. Love it!! Just replaced the cup after 12months. Such good value. Eventually the sand in my run seems to wear it down.

Never used them as I have too many chickens. They look great though.
