She's hanging in there, but I think I'm going to take her to be euthanased this afternoon. I can see organs through the tears and (I know this is gross) but she has some maggots in the wound too. She's not interested in food anymore, so I think the kindest thing for her is put her out of her misery. I'm very fond of SS's. I might pick up some day olds (I have a broody Orpington) or purchase a pullet a bit later. In other news, my new pup was born last night

On an interesting note my BPR's are not selling but had heaps of enquiries as to buying my fertile eggs not advertised and pullets also not advertised

And I listed as owner not Breeder ! Grrr

What a day! With the new business taking over its being a right headache. And I don't particularly want to drive 45 mins to work or 45 mins home everyday. Takes 10 mins where I currently work. And may not be keeping the same position. Hoping chickens take my mind off it.

On another note I sold yellow legs today. One less mouth to feed. Few more weeks and I can sell another. Then waiting on the silkies to tell me which sex they are lol
