Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Woke up yesterday morning to new arrivals. Bel had given birth sometime in the early hours of the morning. She had twins but unfortunately the little boy had passed away but she is still the proud mumma to Sunday.

Congratulations Satay - but sad news that the little newborn has lost her brother. Mumma looks pleased with herself. .... I clicked on an ovation to you, but hit the ' add' button before saying a few words ....

Cheers ....

First up; there will be no further mention of the football I was so excited to be going to on Saturday

Lets just say the only good thing to come out of Saturday was the fact that everyone managed to get to their favourite roosting spots without my watchful eye. Got home from the Gold Coast to find everyone where they should be, sleeping soundly.

In the past, the bubs have gone up to roost before the big girls and then Blondie jumps up and pushes them off; then Cilla jumps up and pushes Blondie off so the bubs can jump up next to her

Meeka3 love the Frizzles … adorable!

satay I am sorry to hear about you losing the male twin but Sunday is soooo cute! Mumma does look very proud and so she should be.

Cilla is definitely close to laying; she has been pecking into the shell grit, she is squatting and her comb is turning a nice shade of red instead of pink. She is also making the little ‘I am going to lay an egg’ noises she makes so hopefully, if not today, we will have more than one layer soon.

Everything else cruising along nicely. Besides the bed time shuffling, everyone seems to be getting along well and they wander around the garden in a happy little group of six

Thanks Annie and everyone. Bel sure is a great mumma. Little sunday is more sure on her tiny little feet today but still takes the odd stack. She made it all the way around to her grassy day pen with mum today which is no mean feet for one so small.

Annibee, they look bigger because their feathers are fluffed out. Milo, the little brown hen is really cute when she tucks her head in, she looks like a pom pom so the grandkids call her pom pom. The two boys do everything together, including hopping on the big chooks at the same time (talk about pack rape), they are inseparable. The girls don't know what to make of them.
