I have some news!  I understand if no-one jumps up and down for joy but it is pretty exciting for me … after 20 weeks + 3 days, a successful hatch and still playing mumma to two beautiful little girls Cilla laid a perfect egg today 

At bed time tonight KiKi was in the middle; Cilla and Crystal were pushing so close together that poor little KiKi was hardly touching the roost and was basically being held up by bodies.  So, I gave Cilla a gentle push to the left and Crystal to the right so that KiKi could actually roost and snuggle down.  I was amazed at the warmth coming off them!  Obviously I know they are warm blooded but when I touched them to move them, they were so cosy and warm like they had been sitting in front of a fire.

Hello everyone. I have just finished creating my own website for my Marans and would like for you guys to check it out
Any suggestions on improving it are greatly appreciated as I can edit it accordingly.

Ended up with 3 little marans, 2 fw and 1 blue or black. Time to reset and try again. I have decided that having sheep lamb at tax time is not a good thing when you have a lot of bookwork to do for people. I took my work outside yesterday so I could watch Sunday and get some work done. 75% of my time watching Sunday 25% getting work done

So, I got woken by the sounds of crowing; as you do when you do not have any roosters!

As hubby was already up and I heard him go outside to check; I laid in bed trying to work out which one of my two 16 weeks old girls was, in fact, a boy. I am picturing how they look and act and thinking “No, neither of them could be” and “OK, they are Silkie X’s but still, surely I could not be that wrong?”.

So, I laid there a bit longer, devastated and waiting to hear the news of which one of my beautiful baby girls was going to have to find a new home.

Hubby comes in and announces that the crower is, in fact, Dusty! My 2.5 year old, egg laying hen!

DUSTY! How could you? Giving me such a scare!

Oh, I haven't set up the mobile site properly yet and I'm not sure you can appropriate it well. Ive really just got it for computers.
The prices for eggs are on the site, are they not?

More people look on mobile devices these days than computers so it should probably be the priority rather than the computer. That said I looked from my ipad and it just gave me the regular site not a mobile version.
